We were there when Prague became the epicenter of MMA! On Saturday 29th December 2024, OKTAGON 65 took place at the O2 Arena, bringing a unique show with three title fights and an atmosphere that made history.
What was going on?
In the main match of the evening, two titans - "The Warrior from Bratislava" Paradeiser and "The Belgian Daredevil" Keita - faced each other. This fight, in which the title of the best lightweight in Europe was on the line, attracted the attention of fans from both countries. Paradeiser had a grueling build-up to the rematch of his previous defeat to Keita, and both fighters showed why they are at the top of European MMA.
Another highlight of the tournament was the return of a living legend, Karlos Vemola, who took on the sovereign Fleury in the last battle at the O2 Arena. Known for his fighting spirit, Vémola was looking to defend his position as the king of the welterweight division and the crowd was eager to see if he could shine again.
And what about our bantamweight champion, Lucie Pudilova? She took on the up-and-coming talent Cecilia Bolander, looking to avenge a close loss from their previous clash in 2022. The crowd was treated to a thrilling battle in which both fighters showed unwavering determination.

At the tournament we also witnessed a rematch in the reserve match between Sardari and Ognjen Dimić, who attracted attention due to his potential. The main topic of the night was whether Mågård could cement his position as #1 bantamweight and get a shot at the championship belt against the elite Severino.
The battle between Radom Úškrt and Daniel Schwindt, also brought great excitement - it really was a battle of fighters with grenades in their hands!
